Your journey is completed, dear hero!
As we bid farewell to the wonderful realm of ThesiLand, let us pause to reflect on our journey thus far. For in traversing its labyrinthine paths, we have not only gleaned knowledge but also forged our own destinies.
Reflect serves as a sacred sanctuary, a moment of respite amidst the tumultuous currents of our scholarly endeavors. Here, we have learned, grown, and created. From keywords and reasearch questions to abstract and literature review. Yet, as the cycle of research dictates, every ending heralds a new beginning.
As we embark upon this juncture of introspection, let us heed the lessons of the past and embrace the promise of the future. For in the circular dance of research, each conclusion is but a prelude to a fresh odyssey.
And here's a farewell gift for you:

With hearts brimming with wisdom and spirits aflame with determination, let us set forth once more into the boundless expanse of discovery. For in every ending lies the seed of a new adventure, waiting to bloom in the fertile soil of possibility.
Remember that the pursuit of learning is a lifelong adventure, and the lessons you've learned will serve you well in all your future endeavors.
As Latin used to say, Ad maiora!
Ad maiora is a Latin phrase that translates to "towards greater things" or "to greater heights" in English. It is commonly used as an expression of encouragement or well-wishing, implying a hope or aspiration for someone to achieve more success, progress, or greater accomplishments in the future.
So, from the all TLT4U team...
Ad maiora!
... we have immediately to face the ''Connect'' Nexus, where threads of knowledge converge.
Your first task is all about yourself!
Here some questions to help you to identify your topic:
* What is your main interest research area for your trip in ThesisLand?
* What do you know about the research topic?
* What are your presumptions about the topic?
* Why do you want to explore this topic?
* Which kind of keywords could you find for your research topic?
Clear you mind and take a moment to fill out https://forms.gle/n2D5ocHSpgqUJd1bA
Search for hidden pathways that bridge your presumptions with aspects on your topic. The better you identify and connect these threads, the more insight you gain into your research domain, about background and context.
No one can help you here, you are your own hero!

Congratulations, intrepid adventurer, for reaching the final uncharted territory of ThesisLand!
Your journey through the academic landscapes has been nothing short of remarkable. As you stand on the threshold of ''The Reflective Ocean'', it extends boundlessly before you. May you navigate this last area with the same resilience and curiosity that brought you this far.
Best of luck in unraveling the [[mysteries that await you!]]Sure! Someone called The AI Tool (such as ChatGPT, Co-Pilot and many others) The Omniscient Oracle, someone says it has all the answers.
Let’s try together.
Take The AI Tool to your playmate and generate with it ideas for your research question. Ask it to use open questions starting with words like What, How, Why and Which.
The AI Tool can be useful for ideate research topics and research questions. It also can provide structures for our argument or answer to simple questions but [[overcoming the pitfalls of Thesisland is something only real research heroes can do!]]In front of you can see the Veil of Investigation.
This is the stage people often identify as ‘research’.
The focus should be on finding relevant, age-appropriate and authoritative resources, and gathering information in response to the broad inquiry question. Students are likely to need help to persevere in the initial stages.
Be ready for Unveiling the Veil of Investigation!
[[I am ready!]]The second level is completed!

As you step out, you can now grasp the ''Torch of Curiosity''.
It's your magical companion, lighting up the way through your academic adventures!
[[I am grabbing the torch and continuing my journey.]]Noble explorer, I understand.
Before you plunge headlong into the vast unknown, take a moment to reflect on the chosen path.
Find solace in the tranquility of a verdant park or the mystique of a secluded forest. Let the whispers of the leaves and the dance of sunlight guide your thoughts. Contemplate why you embarked on this intellectual journey, what aspects of the chosen topic captivate your mind and spirit. Envision the grand tapestry of your thesis unfolding before you.
In the quietude of nature, untangle the threads of your thoughts, allowing clarity to blossom like the petals of a flower. Embrace the love you hold for your subject, for it is this passion that will fuel your scholarly endeavors. Armed with a refreshed mind and a heart brimming with enthusiasm, resume your quest with newfound purpose.
The adventure of crafting your thesis awaits, and with each step, you shape the legacy of your [[academic odyssey]].How can you overcome your struggles?
You will have to find academic resources by yourself and read them carefully. Gaining background is the most important step for your research. After you’re done, you will see how much easier it will get.
My pro tip: Take a look of the research questions in the articles you will find out. Adopt the manners of different researchers until you find your own way. Remember: It takes plenty of reading to write a good piece of text!
If you are in need for help your professors and librarians are your allies!
Go to them and ask for their help.
And when ready, come back to your journey!
[[I have my research question!]]Here your task is to learn to write ''original'' scientific text.
Grab your jacket and your shoes! It is new the time for your creative thinking!
Use discovery tools (bibliographic databases such a Scopus, Web of Science and others) and Google Scholar to find out scientific research on your topic.
Search information on this topic using the keywords you have set.
Use your research question to find gap in the literature.
This phase is gonna take a while but do not lose your hope!
Go to your library and take some time to go deep in your research, ask for input, use databases of the library for [[on and off-line articles]].

[[Ok...]]First of all, some key info on citation and citation styles from the University of Pittsburgh Library System
''What is a citation and citation style?''
A citation is a way of giving credit to individuals for their creative and intellectual works that you utilized to support your research. It can also be used to locate particular sources and combat plagiarism. Typically, a citation can include the author's name, date, location of the publishing company, journal title, or DOI (Digital Object Identifier).
A citation style dictates the information necessary for a citation and how the information is ordered, as well as punctuation and other formatting.
''How to do I choose a citation style?''
There are many different ways of citing resources from your research.
The citation style sometimes depends on the academic discipline involved.
For example:
* APA (American Psychological Association) is used by Education, Psychology, and Sciences
* MLA (Modern Language Association) style is used by the Humanities
* Chicago/Turabian style is generally used by Business, History, and the Fine Arts
You'd better consult with your professor to determine what is required in your specific course.

A curious one, I already like you!
This game is developed as part of a EU funded project.
This ERASMUS+ project ''Improving Transliteracy Skills through Serious Games – TLIT4U'' is implemented since 2021 by three higher educational institutions (University of Library Studies and Information Technology – ULSIT, University of Parma, University of Lapland) and one non-governmental organization (Fondazione Politecnico di Milano – FPM) based in Bulgaria, Italy and Finland.
The project follows the European Union agenda to foster all types of literacy as a factor for the well-being and success of citizens in their active participation in the social, cultural and public life striving for sustainable development. Henceforth, it is essential for transliteracy to be established as a priority of educational institutions.
As most accessed institutions for European citizens, libraries are the natural partners of universities in this process. TLIT4U identifies serious games as the approach to engage students with transliteracy and thus expanding the collaboration between teachers and librarians. Therefore, TLIT4U seeks foremostly a development of critical information skills by going beyond the traditional approach of information literacy as the ability to search textual and bibliographic sources and asserts the urgent necessity of teaching transliteracy.
Transliteracy involves skills, thinking, and actions that allow for overflow and interaction in a way that is predetermined by the situational, social, cultural, and technological context. This concept is based on the transfer of knowledge and skills to achieve in-depth learning and creativity, as well as to avoid fake content. The main components of transliteracy include critical thinking, creativity, ICT/digital skills, collaboration, information skills (i.e a combination of information, digital, media, data literacy etc.), which are in the priorities of the EC, set in a number of strategic documents. Information and communication technologies are changing the way information interacts as a whole. It provides an integrative framework for unification, and convergence of familiar literacy. It also provides a framework for connecting rational-emotional, analytical-creative, and theoretical-practical ways of thinking and working.

You always have to ask yourself:
What is the purpose of the information? to inform? teach? sell? entertain? persuade?

Does the point of view appear objective and impartial?
Are there political, ideological, cultural, religious, institutional?

It should succinctly state the scope of the research, methods, expected results, and implications of the research for the society. The abstract should also include a clear theme...With you keywords, you can now create a mindmap!
But first, figure out what a mindmap is.
You can do your mindmap on paper or by using appropriate digital applications, for example MindMup.
You can also take advantage of Open Knowledge Maps to map with AI a research topic defined by your search terms.
[[I am confident about this part. Let's continue the journey toward the next epic endeavor!]]
[[I am not sure I can answer those questions, I am not sure about my topic.]]CommentNow you have entered the Cave of ''Wonder''s to look for the objective of your research, the ''Research Question'' Haven.
Your quest is to make predictions about your topic, refine your research focus and build strong, well defined objectives. Enlist the help of knowledgeable mentors, engage in debates with fellow scholars to strengthen your thesis statement and develop your argument's core. Be prepared to shift through stacks of information to gather crucial resources for your literature review.
But before... it is time for a critical reflection.
You can entertain and learn a lot about ''Critical Thinking'' (and ethical decision-making as well) by playing the great Quandary game (it will open in a new tab in your browser).
Critical thinking is an invaluable tool for helping you gain new insights, so reflect on your goal:
* To which discipline or field of science your topic relates?
* What is a goal/ are goals of your exploration?
* What do you want your audience to understand about [[your research?]]Here again some usuful questions to help you to identify your topic and to make your mindmap:
* What is ''your main interest research area'' for your trip in ThesisLand?
* ''What do you know about'' the research topic?
* What are ''your presumptions'' about the topic?
* ''Why do you want to explore'' this topic?
* Which kind of ''keywords'' could you find for your research topic?
Ok, now [[I am confident about this part. Let's continue the journey toward the next epic endeavor!]]Here some useful questions:
Where are you going to share your inquiry results, your learning?
What can you tell your target about your discoveries?
Cite what you find, always give credit and use citation tool such as Zotero.
What did you find that surprised you?
What is really important about your findings? Why? To whom?
[[Ok, it is hard but clear]]In this phase, you have a preliminary understanding of the previous literature field of the topic.
However, you don’t know how to formulate your own ''research question''.
[[I am feeling lost, I am not sure I can do it. I would like some extra help…I have heard about something called The AI Tool. Do you recommend that I try it?]]It is now time of investingating a method: the CRAAP methods.
CRAAP is an acronym for Currency, Relevance, Authority, Accuracy, and Purpose.
You must use the CRAAP Test to evaluate your sources.
C stands for ''Currency: ''the timeliness of the information.
When was the information published or posted?
Is the information current or out-of date for your topic?
Has the information been revised or updated?
Are the links functional?
For example, have a look at these links:
1. Keywords: CBS News, Facebook, privacy hoax.

[[Done]]Beware, intrepid scholars!
In the perilous Veil of investigation, the adversary you face is the dreaded Information Overload.

To evade its snares, remember the foundational quests:
What is your research question? Why have you chosen this topic? What literature gap have you identified? One cannot study everything; adhere to what is relevant to your path.
[[Let's go!]]Reflect your results and your own learning to be able to look back at your steps in the Inquiry research, wrap up the steps and identify the gaps you still have and if they motivate further work on your side.
Questions you should be able to ask yourself are:
How has your thinking changed since the start of your research?
Have you drawn any conclusions?
Are you willing to explore ''new'' research? [[Are you ready]] for the ''next'' research?Critical thinking includes evaluating how you have worked and what you have produced.
Reflection is particularly important at the end of an inquiry.
Now that you are a true thesis hero, you can immerse yourself in The Reflective Ocean.
New questions, new possible adventures, new bridges through knowledge are now possible, the ocean is infinite and now you are equipped to navigate though those and [[many more challenges]].Search for hidden pathways that bridge your presumptions with aspects on your topic.
The better you identify and connect these threads, the more insight you gain into your research domain, about background and context.
Your best weapons are the Shield of Scientific Knowledge and Sword of Passion and Effort.
And remember, do not miss your path![[Memorable adventures are yet to come!|realm of research!]]The AI Tool can be a valuable instrument but it is NOT good for everything. In the Cave of Wonders questions are more important than easy answers.
