Projects
* COOKIES (quality COntrOl of baKIng status of ovEn productS) in collaboration with Colussi s.p.a. Perugia
This project has been funded by the European Commission under the 5th Framework Programme, EUropean Take-up of essential Information Society Technologies - Integrated Machine Vision (EUTIST-IMV); Project Partners: University of Parma, Satukunta Polytecnic (Finland), Colussi s.p.a Perugia (Italy), ATE-Applied Technical Engineering Oy (Finland). The final activity report is accessible
here. The follow-up of COOKIES has been a know-how transfer agreement with
EyePro System.
*
Advanced control and identification techniques for innovative applications, Research Project of National Interest PRIN 2006, supported by the Italian Ministry of University and Research
Within this PRIN project, the unit of Parma's University has developed the topic
High-performance control methods for constrained systems.
* PAVISYS (Pantograph Automatic Vision-based Inspection SYStem) in collaboration with Rete Ferroviaria Italiana RFI, Gruppo Ferrovie dello Stato
This bilateral research project has been devoted to the automatic inspection of pantographs for electric traction by artificial vision. The software prototype (the PAVISYS system), developed in collaboration with Prof. Stefano Cagnoni, has been experimentally adopted by RFI for the monitoring of pantographs on the Italian railway network (December 2008).
PAVISYS has been presented at the
PACIFIC Conference
in Amiens (France) on 8 December 2011. The proceedings report is
here.
Currently, further development of PAVISYS is carried out by
HENESIS
by means of a know-how transfer agreement endorsed by
SPINNER 2013.
